And welcome to Henry's Nascar "Clone" 1963 1/2 Galaxie 500

As you can see, this is a REALLY nice "driver". The car started out in life as a lowly 352 and now sports the "427" badging. The front seats are swivel buckets and this car has a four speed transmission, power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning!!! It is really a dream "head turner" to drive! It boasts of a recent, within 1,000 miles, engine overhaul with a bored 390 which has the 427 steel crank and the 427 connecting rods, not the lesser cast crank and 390 rods, which measures out about 405ci. Of course it has the dual 4's and all that combined with 3:50 rear gears really make this thing streetable.   If I had not told you, you would not be able to tell it from an "R" code without looking at the vin. And believe me, there are more than enough ponies to make it "smoke" the 235 60 15 Nascar Goodyear Eagle 1 tires whenever you might want, but will still deliver 15 mpg on the road!!!
